Learn to Build a 19th-Century Split-Rail Fence

Register for April 28, 2018 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

The goal of this program is to show the participants how to turn a log into a post or rail.  Discussions will include picking the right trees, the steps that go into the making of a post or rail, and the different types of fences that we have here at the village.  The posts and rails produced will be used throughout the museum.

Zachary Martin is one of our talented historical interpreters here at OSV.
