Old Sturbridge Village is open for regular daytime visits Wednesday-Sunday during February School Vacation Week from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. On weekdays, enjoy the beauty of winter in New England, take a horse-drawn ride around the Mill Pond, explore our historic houses, and watch hearth cooking and artisan trade demonstrations. Weather permitting, you can also try out our 19th-century style sleds!
On the weekend, February 25 and 26, join us for special winter-themed activities. Weather permitting, Ice Historian Dennis Picard will lead ice cutting demonstrations on the mill pond.
Coming from a distance? Consider a restful night's stay in the Old Sturbridge Inn and Reeder Family Lodges. Our February School Vacation Package includes an overnight stay at the Lodges for 2 adults and two children plus Old Sturbridge Village Tickets for 2 adults and 2 children (valid for two days) and complimentary cookies and hot chocolate for only $139 plus tax.
