Do you still have Individual Plus One memberships or Family Plus One memberships?
Yes! First, you will choose your base plan (Individual, Dual or Family) and then add your “plus one”—or up to five! Adult and youth add-on guests are now available for purchase with any membership.
Do I need to name my add-ons?
No, your add-on(s) can be any guest you would like to bring, and could be a different guest each time you visit. Your guest will need the member to be present in order to visit.
Are add-ons permanent?
You can bring an add-on guest for the full 12-month duration of your membership for standard daytime admission.
Can I add guests after I have purchased my membership?
Yes, you can add guests anytime by calling 508-347-0207 or stop by our Visitor Center during normal hours of operation.
Is there a discount on one-day guest admission?
Yes, one-day admission is 25% off for guests of members. This discount cannot be combined with other types of discounts and can be applied to standard daytime admission only; special events and performances that require a separate ticket are not included.
Is there a membership discount for teachers or seniors?
No, at this time we do not offer a membership discount for educators or senior citizens.
Is there a membership discount for military personnel?

How can I renew my membership?
You can renew your membership online here, by calling our membership department at 508-347-0207, in person at the Visitor Center when you visit during normal hours of operation, or by mailing a check with attention to Membership Department to:

If I renew before the month my membership expires, will I lose any time on the renewed membership?
You won’t lose any time. Your renewal will extend your membership by twelve months from the date of expiration.
Do you have automatic renewal?
Yes! Sustainable memberships are available by calling our Membership Department at 508-347-0207.
What should I do if I receive a notice to renew but I already renewed my membership?
Usually when this happens, the renewal notice and your payment simply got crossed in the mail. You can disregard the notice.
Purchasing a Membership and Using Your Membership
Can I give my card to someone else to use?
No, memberships are non-transferrable.
Can I use my membership for special events such as Christmas by Candlelight?
Events such as Christmas by Candlelight require a separate ticket. Tickets are often for sale to members in advance and/or at a discounted rate.
Does a Family membership include adult children?
Family memberships include two member adults and their children or grandchildren under the age of 18. Adult children are not included, however, you can purchase add-on guest adults for $30.00 each.
Can I apply standard daytime admission tickets to the purchase of a membership?

If I buy a membership today, can I visit today?
Yes! Simply show your valid photo ID when you check in at the Visitor Center during normal hours of operation.
Is my membership active for the calendar year or for a full year from date of purchase?
Memberships are active for one full year from the date of purchase.
Are you extending memberships due to the COVID-19 closure?
Yes, memberships that were active in March 2020 have already been extended by four months to compensate for the amount of time we remained closed due to COVID-19.
Does my membership come with complimentary passes?
Memberships do not come with complimentary guest passes, however you can purchase adult or youth add-ons for $30.00 or $15.00, respectively.
Can I upgrade my membership?
Yes! You can upgrade your membership at any time in our Visitor Center during normal hours of operation or by calling 508-347-0207.
Can I get a refund?
Memberships are nonrefundable.
What are the benefits of membership including reciprocal benefits?
You can read more about the benefits of membership here, including NARM which grants OSV members with a membership valued at $100 or more access to over 1,000 museums. Learn more about NARM here. All OSV members also receive membership benefits at Coggeshall Farm Museum.
Are memberships tax deductible?
No, memberships are not tax-deductible as the value of the benefits is greater than the cost of the membership.
How do I update my contact information?

How can I sign up for member emails?
When you purchase a membership, the email address you provide is entered into our membership email list. If you are not receiving member emails, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
How can I sign up for the general e-Newsletter?
All members automatically receive the general e-Newsletter. If you are not receiving these emails, please contact email@example.com.
How do I get a copy of the Visitor magazine?
All members automatically receive a copy of the Visitor magazine mailed directly to the address you provided when you purchased your membership. If your address has changed, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to update your contact information.
How do I get a replacement card?
If your card was lost or stolen, please contact email@example.com.
When will my membership card arrive?
Typically, membership cards arrive 2-3 weeks after your payment is received. In the meantime, you can use your membership by presenting a valid photo ID when you check in at the Visitor Center during normal hours of operation.
Can I visit without my membership card?
Yes, please present a valid photo ID when you check in at the Visitor Center during normal hours of operation.
