Making a Hussif, Housewife, or Workpocket 

Register for October 27, 2018 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Using fabrics based on textiles used in the Old Sturbridge Village Collection, create an early 19th century version of this beautiful and practical sewing kit that has been used for centuries. Some hand sewing experience is helpful.

Instructor:
Victoria Haynes is the Program and Exhibit Manager of the Freeman Farmhouse & Sewing Program here at OSV. She has a degree in illustration, art history, and art education from Montserrat College of Art.  Victoria’s talent and skill are beyond her young years.

$105 members; $130 nonmembers
