Make a 6-Board Chest (2-Day class)

Register for November 24 & 25, 2018 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Make a six-board chest in this two-day class.  Students in this course will explore tools and techniques used in traditional furniture making, discover period furnishings from the museum collection, and build their own six-board chest typical of those found in early New England households.  

Instructor:
Christopher Nassise is a furniture maker and green woodworker.  He builds handcrafted furniture and teaches woodworking classes throughout the year at his studio, The Green Woodshop, in North Easton, Massachusetts.  Chris is a graduate of the cabinet and furniture making program at the North Bennet Street School in Boston.
