Learn to Build a 19th-Century Split-Rail Fence

Register for April 28, 2018 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

The goal of this program is to show the participants how to turn a log into a post or rail.  Discussions will include picking the right trees, the steps that go into the making of a post or rail, and the different types of fences that we have here at the village.  The posts and rails produced will be used throughout the museum.

$105 members; $130 nonmembers

Note:
Participants should be dressed for working outdoors and may want to bring a pair of work gloves. All class registrations will close 1 week prior to the event.
