Mr. Di Spigna will discuss his biography of Dr. Joseph Warren, a man who might have led the country as Washington or Jefferson had he not been martyred at Bunker Hill in 1775. Raised on a farm and trained at Harvard, professionally successful and political radicalized, Warren became an architect of the colonial rebellion. He was involved in almost every major act which helped unite the colonies against Britain and inspired the Declaration of Independence.
