Times: The Village is open from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm; On Saturday, August 6, you can stay for special extended hours. The Village grounds (excluding historic buildings) will be open until 8:00 pm and visitors can mingle with troops in their camps from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

Cost: Included with standard daytime admission or Village membership. Standard daytime admission is $28 for adults, $26 for seniors (55+), and free for children 3 and under. Up to 3 kids age 4-17 are admitted for FREE per adult paying full price ($28).

After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Redcoats and Rebels is BACK at Old Sturbridge Village.

See the largest military re-enactment in New England with hundreds of costumed Revolutionary War reenactors, both soldiers and civilians, encamped on the Village Common. Visitors can not only explore our exhibits, galleries, and demonstrations and talk with our costumed historians about everyday life in early New England, but also tour the camps, witness recreated skirmishes and battles, see special presentations, and enjoy fife and drum music.

It’s Kids Free Summer at the Village!  Up to three kids 17 and younger are admitted FREE when accompanied by an adult paying full admission ($28) now through the end of Labor Day (September 5, 2022).

Due to the popularity of Redcoats and Rebels, we ask that visitors purchase tickets with arrival blocks in order to spread out the arrival of visitors coming through the Visitor Center. You do not need to arrive exactly at the time stated on your ticket, but please try to arrive within a half hour of the start time you selected. After arriving, you are welcome to stay until the Village is closed.
