MEMBERS ONLY

To help Garden Thyme speakers and leaders plan accordingly for their program and, in some cases, communicate with interested members ahead of time, pre-registration is required. Registration opens approximately one month in advance.

Mohawk, Scarlet Runner, Soldier – discover these and other beans grown in the 19th century. Learn how they were cultivated, cooked, and how pests and diseases were managed then compared to today.

Please make sure to arrive ample time before the program starts in order to check in at the Visitor Center and walk to the program location.

Garden Thyme programs are held on a select Saturday each month and are FREE for members of Old Sturbridge Village. Led by Village horticultural and agricultural staff, these programs and workshops are held at various sites and deal with a variety of plant-related themes and topics.
