Join us for a highlight tour of the ornamental gardens at Old Sturbridge Village. This talk will focus on the ornamental species growing in the Towne, Fitch, and Parsonage gardens. Learn the histories and significance of many period ornamentals as described and illustrated in The Florists Manual by H. Bourne (1833). If attending the in-person program, please make sure to arrive a few minutes before the program starts in order to check-in at the Visitor Center and walk to the program location.

Garden Thyme programs are held on a select Saturday each month and are FREE for members of Old Sturbridge Village. Led by Village horticultural and agricultural staff, these programs and workshops are held at various sites and deal with a variety of plant-related themes and topics.

Please Note: All visitors and members are currently required to reserve their tickets online to manage capacity in accordance with current Massachusetts guidelines.  Your registration for the in-person Garden Thyme program covers your reservation for that day. Before visiting, please make sure to review our current visiting policies here.
