Join us for a highlight tour of the ornamental gardens at Old Sturbridge Village. This talk will focus on the ornamental species growing in the Towne, Fitch, and Parsonage gardens. Learn the histories and significance of many period ornamentals as described and illustrated in The Florists Manual by H. Bourne (1833).
Garden Thyme programs are held on a select Saturday each month and are FREE for members of Old Sturbridge Village. Led by Village horticultural and agricultural staff, these programs and workshops are held at various sites and deal with a variety of plant-related themes and topics.
