Meets in the Visitor Center

MEMBERS ONLY

Nonnative species can be challenging in a managed agricultural landscape. Concerns about supporting native wildflower, tree, grass, and shrub populations are building as pastures are quickly reclaimed by new and tenacious species. Join us for a discussion surrounding the nuances of nonnative and native species competition, and learn lasting and ethical land management solutions.

Garden Thyme programs are held on a select Saturday each month and are FREE for members of Old Sturbridge Village. Led by Village horticultural and agricultural staff, these programs and workshops are held at various sites and deal with a variety of plant-related themes and topics. Participants gather at the Visitor Center and are led to the appropriate setting.
