Meets in the Visitor Center
New to seed saving? A great way to start is by practicing with annual flower and herb species. This talk will demonstrate both 19th-century and modern techniques for saving seed from ornamental species such as Flower of an Hour, Calendula, and Honesty.
Garden Thyme programs are held on a select Saturday each month and are FREE for members of Old Sturbridge Village. Led by Village horticultural and agricultural staff, these programs and workshops are held at various sites and deal with a variety of plant-related themes and topics. Participants gather at the Visitor Center and are led to the appropriate setting.
