Meets in the Herb Garden

All programs require preregistration. All programs will have a capacity limit and are subject to change due to COVID-19 guidelines. All programs will also have a virtual version, either live or recorded, depending on the nature of the program.

The in-person program is FULL, but you can sign up for the live-streamed version here.

Beekeeping is something that benefits all gardeners; still most do not keep bees. This was as true in the 1830’s as it is in 2021. Learn that starting and keeping a hive is not as daunting as it might seem, and the benefits are great.

Garden Thyme programs are held on a select Saturday each month and are FREE for members of Old Sturbridge Village. Led by Village horticultural and agricultural staff, these programs and workshops are held at various sites and deal with a variety of plant-related themes and topics.

Please Note: All visitors and members are currently required to reserve their tickets online to manage capacity in accordance with current Massachusetts guidelines.  Your registration for the in-person Garden Thyme program covers your reservation for that day. Before visiting, please make sure to review our current visiting policies here.
