Meets at the Salem Towne Orchard

To help Garden Thyme speakers and leaders plan accordingly for their program and, in some cases, communicate with interested members ahead of time, pre-registration is required. Registration opens approximately one month in advance.

Join us for a tour of the Salem Towne Orchard to see the 78 new trees planted there! Learn about the different varieties, the history of the Davenport Collection of Apples, and get a behind-the-scenes look at how we are using modern day solutions to ensure the best health of the new trees.

Please make sure to arrive ample time before the program starts in order to check in at the Visitor Center and walk to the program location.

Garden Thyme programs are held on a select Saturday each month and are FREE for members of Old Sturbridge Village. Led by Village horticultural and agricultural staff, these programs and workshops are held at various sites and deal with a variety of plant-related themes and topics.
