Freeman Farm at Old Sturbridge Village
This summer, Old Sturbridge Village and Brian Clowdus Experiences bring the beloved story of Charlotte’s Web to life at the Freeman Farm with a live musical production based on the classic and beloved tale by E.B. White. This production is a reinvented version of the story, set in a timeless New England era that honors the 1830s but with a modern license to breathe fresh air into the story!
An abundance of dining options will be available throughout the museum including our Tap Room Restaurant, Bullard Tavern Café, Ice Cream Shop, as well as a Charlotte’s Web-themed eatery and concession adjacent to the performance area.
Written by Joseph Robinette, based on the book by E.B. White
Produced by special arrangement with Dramatic Publishing, Woodstock, Illinois
On the day of the final performances, August 26, please join us at 12:30 pm in the Center Meetinghouse at Old Sturbridge Village to meet Lindsay Morand, E.B. White’s grandniece! Morand has shared her E.B. White scrapbook, personal photos, and letters in 17 countries and most of the United States over the past 40 years. Don’t miss this very special program, included with regular admission to the Village.
IMPORTANT: Both a show ticket and general Village admission (or a membership or season pass) are required to see the show.
During the month of August 2018, up to three kids 17 and younger are admitted to the museum for FREE when accompanied by an adult paying full admission. Kids still need a ticket to Charlotte’s Web in order to see the show.
Tickets for an 11:00 show are $12/person and tickets for a 1:30 show are $14/person. Purchase tickets prior to June 15 and SAVE $2/person! This discount will appear at checkout when you purchase your tickets.
Performances are rain or shine. In the event of severe weather conditions, the performance will be relocated to an inside location. All sales are final – no refunds, transfers, or exchanges unless Old Sturbridge Village cancels the performance.
Please plan to arrive at least 40 minutes prior to show time to allow sufficient time to check in and walk to the farm.
