Work together in front of an open hearth to prepare a meal using 19th-century receipts, methods, and utensils.  While you cook and eat, participants will learn more about foodways and dining etiquette from the 1830s.  The evening’s menu will include Raspberry Shrub, Potted Cheese and Crackers, Herb Pie, Roasted Chicken with Stuffing, Roasted Carrots, Potato Pasty, Spring Greens with Salad Sauce, Fricasseed Jerusalem Artichokes, and Eliza Leslie’s Chocolate Cake with Whipped Cream.

Space is limited.  Individual, Dual, Family, and Enhanced members can sign up for $35/ person. There is no additional charge for All-Access, Federalist, and Cornerstone members. Pre-registration is required by calling (508) 347-0210 or email
