Support the Harvest

Fall at Old Sturbridge Village is truly an inspiring experience! This autumn, support our fall programs so that we may continue to provide the quality, first-hand experiences you love to share with friends and family. A gift today will ensure that we take care of our harvest now, and protect both the harvest and the Village for the future. Give today!

Where Needed Most

As a Village, truly active and operational 365 days of the year, Old Sturbridge Village’s monthly giving program helps to care for and maintain all aspects of the Village and museum. As the needs of the Village change, so will the direction of your gift. Every day the museum is faced with new and unexpected challenges in operating the Village – from removing snow in the winter to replacing boilers and leaking roofs. Give today!

Youth Education

Each year, Old Sturbridge Village hosts more than 55,000 school children through field trip experiences and hands-on workshops. The museum's team of educators works every day to connect students with early American practicalities, values and their relevance to modern-day life. From hiring engaging educators to introducing innovative curricula, the Village is working to make our interactive, immersive museum more accessible to students of all ages. Give today!

New Piggery for the Village

Donated to Old Sturbridge Village in 2014 by Overseer Gary Galonek and his wife Beckie, the Allen Piggery is slated to be erected at the Village in 2016. This building will be the first historic structure added to the museum's landscape since the 1980s and will bring with it many opportunities for our agricultural program to grow. Help the Village make this exciting new addition in 2016. Email us for more information!

College Intern Program

For the past decade Old Sturbridge Village has grown its college intern program into a robust program which hosts up to 20 interns from across the country each summer. Our interns choose from a variety of disciplines, including costume interpretation, education, agriculture, horticulture, curatorial and marketing. This year, we began offering $1,500 stipends to the interns. Thanks to two generous donors, all donations for the interns made through September 2016 will be matched up to $15,000. Field of Flags

As a Blue Star Museum, Old Sturbridge Village offers free admission to active duty military, National Guard, Reserve military, disabled veterans, and career-retired military members and their families. We are able to provide this because of the support of our generous donors. Every $25 that you donate provides complimentary daytime admission to military members and their families year-round. Give today!
