Bird cage Windsor armchair with bamboo turned legs, stretchers and spindles. Arms curl under at ends. Saddle-shaped seat without pommel. Two parallel incised lines around front of seat; single incised line on seat before bottom of spindles. Four stretchers, front and back higher than side stretchers. Front arm supports are round, tapering upward with three narrow turned bands near top. Crest rail has three 2″ turned spindles doweled in; stretcher below has seven spindles doweled in.
