Bowfront chest of drawers with four drawers and bracket feet. Original brasses, oval stamped brass with bail handle. Keyhole escutcheons at top of each drawer center. Original locks in 2nd and 3rd drawer. Keyhole on 4th drawer is false. Beveled edge at top back, protruding quarter round lip. Top edge has alternating light and dark diagonal string inlay, two distinct bands. Bottom string inlay has very thin band of inlay below light and dark. Drawers have cock beading edging. Alternating light/dark string inlay with cherry veneer fronts. Outside the string inlay, mahogany veneer to bring a bit of contrasting to the cherry. Feet have string inlay following foot profile.
