For Members Only! Take a Peek Members: "Take a peek" into collections storage with a Village specialist to see some of the 60,000 historical artifacts up close and learn how they serve as important references for Village exhibits, research, and programs. |

Crafts at Close Range Spend a day learning a historical craft. These workshops vary from blacksmithing to woodworking, textile crafts, foodways, and more. Come and try your hand at a craft and take home your finished masterpiece! |

Evening at the Kiln - September 6 Experience a traditional kiln firing at the Hervey Brooks Pottery after hours; see the glow of the kiln, the sparks of the fire, and woodsmoke billowing into the night sky. |

Apple Tasting - October 4 A unique apple tasting experience with visiting apple historian, orchard consultant, and author, Tom Burford. |

Harvest Party at Freeman Farm - October 4 Be part of a “traditional” apple-paring harvest party and experience traditional 19th-century work and play. Registration for this event opens soon. |

Cider Tasting with Ben Watson - October 5 Cider and cheese tasting participants will sample a selection of hard ciders and artisanal cheeses, with commentary by Ben Watson, author of Cider, Hard and Sweet and The Slow Food Guide to New York City. |
