Old Sturbridge Village is a very special museum and place to work. As a history museum we encourage visitors to experience the past in a profoundly moving and engaging way as we re-create the lifeways and rhythms of the early nineteenth century.

We are committed to assuring our visitors a comfortable and credible experience and to exceeding their expectations. As we demonstrate the work processes of an earlier time, documenting a past that that might otherwise be forgotten, each member of the staff plays a crucial role in sharing this wonderful museum with nearly 250,000 visitors every year.
