Welcome to the Critter Counter, the page that keeps track of animal arrivals at the Village.
The wait is over! Two new calves arrived at the Freeman Farm within days of each other in early August. In this photo, see heifer calf Posie with mother cow Priscilla (milking shorthorn).
Also watch a video with agriculture coordinator Rhys Simmons and new heifer calf Betsy with mother cow Buttercup (Devon).
These new arrivals trigger the beginning of dairying demonstrations, with daily milking and weekly cheese or buttermaking. Check the Daily Events listing for details.
