| Do Members receive a discount on their purchases at the Gift Shop or on-line? Yes! Please show your Membership card at the Gift Shop in order to receive your discount. | I want to bring some friends with me to the Village, would I get a discount on their admission? Yes, Members receive a 25% discount on guest admission tickets. | What is the difference between a Family Membership and an Individual Plus One? Both of these Memberships are the same price. ($80 for one-year or $195 for three-years) The main difference is that the Individual Plus One Membership offers unlimited daytime admission for one named person and they can bring a guest with them each time -- for free! It does not need to be the same person each time so there is some flexibility. The Family Membership offers unlimited daytime admission for 2 adults (living at the same address) and any children or grandchildren under the age of 18. This is a great way to take the children or grandkids here for a visit! | |
| Are there other museums that I can show my Old Sturbridge Village Membership card at and get a discount? Yes! We have a reciprocal program with several other living history museums throughout the United States. Each museum determines what their discount is, so it is always best to call ahead. | I already renewed my Membership - why did I receive another renewal notice in the mail? It has probably crossed in the mail with your Membership renewal. Old Sturbridge Village's Membership renewal is similar to many other nonprofit organizations in that we utilize a mailhouse to assist us with this mailing. We also select a nonprofit bulk-rate postage. This rate is very economical for the Village, but it does take longer than First Class mail. If you have already received your new Membership card, this verifies your renewal payment was received and processed. Please contact the Membership Department if you need assistance with this. Call (508) 347-3362, ext. 205. | |
| What are some examples of your Member-Only events and programs? In recent years we have hosted Member-Only events that ranged from Evening Ice-Skating, May Day Tea Party (with author Valerie Tripp), a luncheon with Norm Abram (from The New Yankee Workshop), Garden Thyme, and Behind-The-Scenes Tours. Member-Only events are held throughout the year; please see the online member event listing to see what's next. | |
