A workshop for the home gardener, no experience necessary.

Planning your first vegetable garden or hoping to improve the quality of your backyard vegetable garden? Join us as this popular program returns for its sixth year with an emphasis on techniques to start and succeed with common vegetables.

Consider entering items from your harvest at our Agricultural Exhibition in September.

A lunch break will be available. Please consider joining us for a Local Harvest Lunch at the Oliver Wight Tavern. Registration is required for both the workshop and lunch.

Follow-up programs during spring and summer

As a special benefit of participation in this March workshop, a series of follow-up demonstrations will take place in our OSV gardens on select weekends during the 2014 garden season. These demonstrations will be available exclusively to March workshop participants.

Please note: OSV Members and Sturbridge residents are admitted to the Village free for these follow-up programs.  March Garden Workshop participants who are not OSV Members or Sturbridge residents will be eligible for half-price admission to OSV on these scheduled days.
