History on the Road Program Feedback from a 5th grade class
Dear Mrs. ---------:
I really enjoyed you coming to my class. You were kind and involved everyone in “Day in Court”. Maybe another day you could come to our school. I love acting and court was very interesting. I was in the Arnold family and we had a case that some old man crashed into my mom and dad’s wagon. I was 15 and my little brother Ezra was 5. Thank You for everything.
Dear Mrs. --------:
Thank You for coming to our school! I had such a fun day in “Court”. I wish you could come back. I really had fun role playing. I was Zeba Plimpton in the wagon hit n run case. Going to Old Sturbridge Village is one of my favorite things to do. I had lots of fun.
Dear Mrs. -------:
Thank You for coming to our school. I really liked you. I really liked when we did the Day in Court. Just want to say when I went up to the dog bite case, it was a lot of fun. You were kind, nice and involved everyone. I have been to Old Sturbridge Village before. I really liked your clothes. Hope you can come again.
Dear Mrs. -----:
How is your job? Sounds fun because you get to go to go to schools and do things like you did in our class. We went to Old Sturbridge Village in first and third grade. I was looking about your job today. I didn’t know that you had so many interesting things.
Dear Mrs. ------:
Thank You for coming. I really enjoyed the acting. It was very interesting. Wow! Things are DIFFERENT back then from NOW. I cant BELIEVE how much it cost if you were guilty. Right now it’s a lot of differents. I hope I see you soon,
Dear Ms. -----:
I liked you coming to our school. It was really fun. You made everyone participate. The Day in Court was really fun. When I played Mr. Allen it was very interesting. You were very nice. I hope you can come back to our school.
Dear Mrs. -------:
Thank you so much for teaching me about the court in 1838. I thought it was very interesting. Also, you were very nice and informative. You were a really good actor too. I love going to Old Sturbridge Village and learning about what you guys did in the old days.
Dear Mrs. -----:
Thank you for coming into my class and teaching us about court back then. I loved how you included everyone, it was very nice. I also liked how you let me pick my own age and had me come up front of the room and talk to the class. I was Ezra the six year old boy and it was fun to be able to come up in front of the class and pretend to be in front of a judge. You are a very informative and kind woman. So Thank You for coming into my class.
Dear Mrs. -----:
Thank you for taking us to a day in court. With everyone being involved in the role play it made it interesting, but it wasn’t just skits, it was also very informative which made it interesting. I said maybe they should put up a fence in court. Even if the idea wasn’t the best idea, you blew it up to make it an actual part of the scenario.
Dear Mrs. ------:
Thank you for coming to -----------elementary school. I really enjoyed our Day in Court with your informative facts about the past. I enjoyed being part of one of the cases because I like acting. I have been in six plays in Sturbridge. You let everyone participate which I liked so you could voice your opinion. I also liked your costume and expressions when said something new. I hope you come back again.
Dear Mrs. ----:
Thank you for coming. I like that everyone that wanted to get involved got to get involved. It was interesting that some of the cases a long time ago are very similar to todays cases in court. You were nice and informative. I learned a lot and had fun. I like everything in Old Sturbridge Village.
Dear Mrs. -----:
