We want to keep OSV affordable for families and provide more access to historical interpreters and hands-on exhibits. Donations to our most pressing needs will keep visitors coming to Old Sturbridge Village for years to come.
- It takes a lot of people to keep history alive…interpreters, teachers, curator, historians, horticulturists, researchers, groundskeepers, administrators, and security officers.
- OSV has more than 40 historic buildings to maintain, in addition to an education center and other modern visitor service buildings.
- There are 50,000 artifacts and 40,000 books and manuscripts in our collection requiring ongoing care and restoration.
- We have 200 acres of land, three walking trails and a working farm complete with 60 Heritage breed farm animals.
