HANDS ON CRAFTS CENTER
Instruction by Village craftspeople; make an item to take home. Today’s offerings include:
10:00-12:00– Make a Theorem Painting ($5)
10:00-4:30– Dip a Pair of Candles ($5)
2:00-4:00- Make Your Own Broom ($15)
Some restrictions on age, safety, and number of participants may apply. Cash and credit cards are accepted. Daily events are subject to change.

Second Annual Members Quilt Challenge
Members were challenged to design and make a quilted entry based on some aspect of an artifact quilt selected from the OSV collection (add image of an 1808 hexagonal quilt made by Phebe Winsor of Johnston, Rhode Island).  All types of quilted entries were welcome – traditional, contemporary, miniatures, garments, or accessories. All of the challenge entries will be on display in the OSV Visitor Center Gallery from June 5th through July 7th alongside quilting artifacts from our collections.

BEEKEEPING EXHIBIT COMING SOON!
In preparation for the new Beekeeping Exhibit , the Herb Shed is currently closed to Visitors.  We are in the process of installing observation hives & displays for an early summer bee-ginning!
