Birthday parties at Old Sturbridge Village are a unique and memorable way for kids turning 5-15 to celebrate their special day with friends and family.
Every party includes dressing up in 19th-century costumes, snacks, activities, Village admission for all guests, and a $10 voucher for the guest of honor.
Parties can be held at 10:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. on any day that the Village is open (see the Village schedule) and last for 90 minutes. The space is available for up to 30 additional minutes for gift opening.

Birthday Party Packages
Basic Package
Up to 12 individuals (children and adults, including birthday child) in The Cottage. Choose a 90-minute program below.
Fee: $175 OSV Members/$200 Non-members
Cromwell Bullard Package
Up to 20 children (including birthday child) and up to 10 adults in the Bullard Tavern Great Room. Choose a 90-minute program below.
Fee: $300 OSV Members/$325 Non-members
90-Minute Programs
Merry Militia (Ages 5-10)
Includes a muster roll signed with a quill pen by all who attend in addition to drill instruction and a tin militia gorget.
Traditional Tea Party (Ages 8-15)
Includes memory book signed with a quill pen by all who attend. Make and enjoy mint tea & trifle during a Traditional Tea Party.
Village Craftsmen (Ages 5-8)
Party includes memory book signed by with a quill pen by all who attend, early 19th-century children's games (includes Jacob's Ladder Story) and an additional activity of choice*.
Farm Fun (Ages 8-12)
Party includes memory book signed with a quill pen by all who attend, churning butter, and an additional activity of choice*.

Party includes memory book signed with a quill pen by all who attend; a 30-minute magic show by Robert Olson in character as Richard Potter of Massachusetts, America's first native-born magician; instruction in 19th-century tricks and games; and making a toy that fools the eye.
