Weight powered movement mounted on mahogany block and covered by a cone shaped brass bell which rests on a brass plate engraved: "Made by Simon Willard in 1833, in his 80th year". Eight-day. brass movement with alarm mechanism. Deadbeat escapement. Mahogany case and glass bell jar are a modern reproductions. | |
