Redware lard pot. Slightly footed base, rounded out through middle, tapering slightly in with molded rim at top. Light brown glaze on the inside; some glaze drips on the outside. The maker's name "H. BROOKS" impressed on the outside. |

Large eathenware pot flaring to larger diameter at top with slight curve to sides. Wide rim on outside edges top. Pot is completely unglazed. Ridges produced while turning are pronounced on inside; outside is much smoother. |
