This is a special event is a once-a-year opportunity to see the Village lit only by candles, oil lamps, and firelight. An Evening of Illumination is a rare chance for visitors to experience what evening life was really like for New Englanders in the early 1800s.

Add an overnight stay at the Old Sturbridge Inn and Reeder Family Lodges. Packages available for additional savings.

Tours last approximately 90 minutes, are limited to 15 guests each, and leave from the Visitor Center every 10 minutes from 6:00 p.m. through 7:30 p.m. Light refreshments, mulled cider, and a cash bar await at the Bullard Tavern to make the night complete.
