EXHIBIT: Farm, Families and Change
May 23, 2009 - December 31, 2015

Farm, Families and Change
The Farm, Families and Change exhibit includes new displays in three of the Village's restored barns and addresses questions that resonate today -- "where does our food come from?" and "why does the New England landscape look the way it does?" Children can "milk" a full-size replica cow and can climb onto a farm wagon loaded with goods for market. An indoor exhibit in the museum's countryside area entitled New England's Changing Landscape is a large re-created agricultural landscape showing the forces that shaped the rural landscape in the 1830s and today.

The new farm exhibit at Old Sturbridge Village was funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Robert W. Booth fund of the Greater Worcester Community Foundation, and the George F. and Sybil H. Fuller Foundation.
