This eight-session course takes the adult student through the steps for building a muzzle-loading flintlock gun. The course covers the design, component selection, layout, carving, metalworking, finishing, and assembly of the gun. All aspects of building will be demonstrated and examples will be available for study.

The course will consist of eight sessions, Sundays from 9:30am to 4pm, including October 19 and 26, November 2, 9, 16, and 23, and December 7 and 14 (no session on November 30). In case of a weather cancellation, a make-up class will be December 21. Sorry, the deadline for registration has passed.

The tuition for the class is $800 for Members and $850 for Non-members. The materials will cost between $450 and $800, depending on the gun chosen by the student. Each student will be put in touch with the instructor, Stephen Paulson, for detailed information about selecting a project and ordering parts.
